How Your Mind Works

Whatever your conscious mind assumes and believes to be true, your subconscious mind will accept and bring to pass. Believe in good fortune, divine guidance, right action, and all the blessings of life.

Ideas to Ponder:

1. Think good, and good follows. Think evil, and evil follows. You are what you think all day long.

2. Your subconscious mind does not argue with you. It accepts what your conscious mind decrees. If you say, “I can’t afford it,” your subconscious works to make it true. Select a better thought. Decree, “I will buy it. I accept it in my mind.”

3. You have the power to choose. Choose health and happiness. You can choose to be unfriendly. Choose to be cooperative, joyous, friendly, lovable, and the whole world will respond. This is the best way to develop a wonderful personality.

4. Your conscious mind is the “watchman at the gate.” Its chief function is to protect your subconscious mind from false impression. Choose to believe that something good can happen and its happening now. Your greatest power is your capacity to choose. Choose happiness and abundance.

5. The suggestions and statements of others have no power to hurt you. The only power is the movement of your own thought. You can choose to reject the thoughts or statement of others and affirm the good. You have the power to choose how you will react.

6. Watch what you say. You have to account for every idle word. Never say, “I will fail; I will lose my job; I can’t pay the rent.” Your subconscious cannot take a joke. It brings all these things to pass.

7. Your mind is not evil. No force of nature is evil. It depends how you use the power of nature. Use your mind to bless, heal, and inspire all people everywhere.

8. Never say, “I can’t.” Overcome that fear by substituting the following: “I can do all things through the power of my subconscious mind.”

9. Begin to think from the standpoint of the eternal truths and principles of life and not from the standpoint of fear, ignorance, and superstition. Do not let others do your thinking for you. Choose your own thoughts and make your own decisions.

10. You are the captain of your soul (subconscious mind) and the master of your fate. Remember, you have the capacity to choose. Choose life! Choose love! Choose faith! Choose happiness!

11. Whatever your conscious mind assumes and believes to be true, your subconscious mind will accept and bring to pass. Believe in good fortune, divine guidance, right action, and all the blessings of life.

To picture the end results in your mind causes your subconscious to respond and fulfill your mental picture.

Phases in an Annuity (Part 1)

image

Accumulation Phase
This only applies to deferred annuities. During this time, your contributions gradually build up.

Early withdrawal during the accumulation phase may face surrender charge. However, most annuities allow the policy holder to make partial withdrawals withing their contract without penalty.

In the U.S., if withdrawing before age 59½, you may get a 10% federal income tax penalty as with other tax-deferred accounts.

Who else wants to know the 8 forms of Wealth?

Who Else Wants To Know The 8 Forms Of Wealth?

image

1.    Inner Wealth: This includes a positive mindset, high self-respect, internal peace and a strong spiritual connection. It also includes clarity around your values and a fierce sense of your one-, three-, five- and 10-year goals.

2.    Physical Wealth: Your health is your wealth. What’s the point of accumulating all the wealth in the world if you are too sick to spend it? Don’t be the best businessperson in the hospital ward. Why be the richest person in the graveyard? Great leaders are in great health.

3.    Family and Social Wealth: When your family life is happy, you will perform better at work. No one gets to the end of their life and regrets making their family a primary priority. Related to this is the imperative of forging deep connections with friends and members of your personal community, including members, role models and trusted advisors.

4.    Career Wealth: Actualizing your highest potential by reaching for your best in your career is incredibly important. Getting to greatness in your profession brings a feeling of satisfaction on a job well done. It helps you make your mark. Being world-class in your work is good for your self-respect. Be so good at what you do that you leave your teammates and clients spellbound.

5.    Economic Wealth: Yes, money is important. It’s not the most important thing in life, but it is very important, and it absolutely makes life easier and better. Money allows you to live in a nice home, take beautiful vacations and provide well for those you love. And so Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, said: “The more I make, the more I can give away.”

6.    Circle of Genius: You become who you spend time with, and your associations affect your mindset and performance. “Lead Without a Title” and surround yourself with exceptional people—their stardust will rub off on you.

7.    Adventure Success: To be fulfilled, each of us needs mystery in our lives. Challenge is necessary for happiness. The human brain craves novelty. And we are creative beings, so we need to be creating constantly if we hope to feel joy. Lots of adventure (ranging from meeting new people to visiting new places) is an essential element of authentic wealth.

8.    Impact Wealth: Perhaps, the deepest longing of the human heart is to live for something greater than itself. Each of us craves to be significant. To make a difference. To know that the world has somehow been better because we have walked the planet. Think of what Richard Bach once wrote: “Here is the test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If you’re alive, it isn’t.” Leaders leave a legacy.

Would you like to Conquer your Frustrations and be Creative?

image

There are levels of the mental life to which no exasperation or frustration can ascend. And peaceful thinking brings you to that mental level where nothing can bother you unduly.

Your ability to live successful is solely dependent on being able to conquer frustrations.

To conquer frustrations:

1. Decide that you honestly want emotional self-control.

2. Practice peaceful thinking. With practice you will find it easier, more natural.

3. Instead if letting frustration irritate you, try to understand other people objectively, what makes them the way they are.

4. Set apart a period of quietness daily.

5. Each day practice relaxing muscular tensions.

6. Before going to bed, flush out of your mind the bad emotions.

7. Look to God for help in substituting calmness for irritation.

8. Do the best you can and leave the results to God. Then it will work out for the best.

How to Keep the Magic of Enthusiasm Working for You

image

1. Enthusiasm is a word meaning full of God. So to have enthusiasm fill you minds full of God.

2. Life’s blows cannot break a person whose spirit is warmed at the fire of enthusiasm. Only when enthusiasm cools is he likely to crack up.

3. If you are out of enthusiasm get reborn spiritually. That’s experience will make you come alive. Study the Bible text ” . . . . . . we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)

4. Everyday remind yourself of your own ability, of your good mind and affirm that you can make something really good out of your life.

5. Empty out old dead thoughts and be reborn in mind and spirit. Rebirth refreshments personality.

6. Have an eye for the charm and romance of life and practice aliveness.

7. To have enthusiasm simply practice being enthusiastic.

8. You can make yourself enthusiastic by affirming enthusiasm and by thinking, talking, acting enthusiastic.

9. Start and end every day and in between times too, by thanking God for everything.

10. Persevere in your search for God. When you find Him zest and enthusiasm will fill your mind to overflowing.

A note from the universe: A World of Possibilities awaits You.

image

image

Take a moment and think of your life today, just as it is, just where you are.

Okay. Now I want you to think of the fabulous life of your dreams.

All right. Now, do you realize that getting from here to there is not something you can do without me?

I thought so. But then do you also realize that it’s not something I can do without you?

Awesome, we’re almost there. And do you further realize that the things I can do, you cannot? And that the things you can do, I cannot?

That’s big.

And so is what we can do,
    The Universe

In your every pursuit after your every dream, I am there. I want for you what you want yourself. And always, I know the absolute fastest way to bring it about. But to use me, to engage the magic, you must first use yourself. Don’t hesitate, be bold, have faith. Imagine, visualize, and commence living the life of your dreams today, to any degree that you can, and mountains will be the least that we’ll move.

Stay connected!

Live As If Your Father Were Dead.

image

A man must love his father and yet be free of his father’s expectations and criticisms in order to be a free man.

Imagine that your father has died or remember when he did die. Are there any feelings of relief associated with his death? Now that he is dead, is any part of you happy that you need not live up to his expectations or suffer his criticisms?

How would you have lived your life differently if you had never tried to please your father? If you never tried to show your father that you were worthy? If you never felt burdened by your father’s critical eye?

For the next three days, do at least one activity a day that you have avoided or suppressed because of the influence of your father. In this way, practice being free of his subtle expectations, which may now reside within your own self-judgement. Practice being free in this way, once each day for the next three days, even if you still free fearful, limited, unworthy or burdened by your father’s expectations.

How to Pray Your Way Through Difficulty

image

1. Break the tension by shifting your thoughts completely from the problem and instead think only about God. When you return to the problem tour insight will sharpen; your understanding deepen.

2. Practice a daily quiet time in which to listen intently for God’s direction; listen more deeply than your own thoughts.

3. Take God as your partner in every enterprise.

image

4. Apply analytical spiritual thinking about every problem.

image

5. Practice the write-it-out and put-it-in-the-Bible method. Write your problems on a card in the fewest possible words and place it in your Bible. Then take note of the date you receive a positive or negative answer for your problems. Then file the card away. Simplicity requires mental clarity and out of clarity clear answers come.

6. When you pray ask the Lord for directions as to what to do and how to do it. Then believe what He tells you. Do as He says.

7. Keep your mental and spiritual “contact points” cleaned so that God can operate through your mind.

Norman Vincent Peale.
